Overview

A marketplace that connects players with pro gamers covering design, code, and quality.

Boostroom is a platform where customers hire professional gamers to play on their accounts and reach specific goals: rank boosts, win streaks, placement matches, account leveling, and game-specific achievements. The product had to earn trust quickly, make the service offer immediately clear, and handle a catalog spanning multiple games and service types.

Our scope covered the full lifecycle: from the initial visual direction and UX structure, through the complete frontend and backend implementation, and into QA testing before launch. The result is a polished storefront backed by a reliable product foundation.

Focus: Marketplace design, service catalog, trust and conversion

Scope: UX, UI, design system, full-stack development, QA

What We Built

The platform starts with a dark, cinematic hero experience that communicates the product's value immediately: hire a pro, boost your account, get results. From there, users navigate a games catalog organized by title, where each game card exposes its relevant service types - raids, dungeons, powerleveling, character boosting, PvP, and more, without overwhelming the page.

The service browsing experience is built around clarity and intent. A customer who knows they want a Valorant rank boost and one who is just exploring different options should both find a logical path forward quickly. The tag system, filtering, and service detail pages were all designed with that dual use case in mind.

Trust was a central design challenge. Customers are sharing account access with a stranger, which means the platform needs to show legitimacy at every step. We integrated a Trustpilot review section, real customer testimonials, a 24/7 support contact path, and a transparent booster vetting model to support that confidence.

Design Decisions

Gaming marketplace aesthetics vary from cartoonish to aggressively dark. Boostroom lands in a focused middle ground: a dark navy product surface that feels premium and serious, with electric blue accents that direct attention toward actions without making the interface feel like a game itself. The result reads as trustworthy to a customer spending real money, not just flashy.

The games grid uses a card-first layout so the catalog can grow over time without requiring layout changes. Each card carries the game name, a curated set of service type tags, and a direct entry point to the full service list. This keeps the homepage informative and scannable without turning it into a navigation exercise.

Outcome

  • Designed and built a full gaming marketplace where customers can hire verified pro gamers to boost their accounts.
  • Shipped a games catalog covering Valorant, World of Warcraft, League of Legends, Apex Legends, Path of Exile, and Fortnite.
  • Implemented trust signals including Trustpilot reviews integration, 24/7 support contact, and a transparent service tag system.

Boostroom launched as a complete, production-ready marketplace, designed, built, and tested in a single engagement from initial concept through QA sign-off.
